We, FORMIX, are actually GMO's e-commerce service, and we are also the official partner of "make shop", which is probably the most used in Japan, and "cloud e-commerce", which is a headless commerce. So I heard rumors that GMO will be exhibiting at IT WEEK held from April 5th to 7th, so I visited.

While I was in the middle of the day, I was able to hold a simple seminar about EC operation, and I was able to talk about it.

Well, the reason why Formix decided to form a partnership with GMO is the "cloud EC" mentioned above. All I can say is that this was very attractive. Of course, “shopify” introduced in this blog is attractive, but if you want to implement large-scale e-commerce or special functions, the package e-commerce cart engine will inevitably limit customization. In particular, the payment area is a black box, so I won't touch it.
In that respect, as the "cloud EC" claims to be headless, almost all functions are linked by API, so you can freely design, layout, and UI on the front side.

I would like to make one more announcement, but regarding the "keywords for operations that scale up the EC business" that I talked about at the GMO booth, this content will be held in the form of a webinar in the future. EC sales change greatly depending on the operation.
