▼How to register products on Shopify
Click the [Product Management] > [Add Product] button on the left menu of Shopify.
You can also "duplicate" an existing product from its page.
This is recommended as it saves you the trouble of having to enter data.
①Title and description
Enter the title and product description.
Product descriptions must be entered in HTML.
Once the design is finalized, we will develop the HTML template, so please leave this field blank until then.
2) Media
Register the product image.
③Category
Register a category.
④ Pricing
Price : Enter the price including tax. Pre-discount price : No need to enter (only use when running a sale)
Apply tax to product price : Checked Cost per item : If you enter the purchase price (cost), it will be reflected in the calculation of profit margins and other items in the report, but sales are possible even if you do not enter it.
⑤ Inventory
SKU : Enter the unique code for that product. Barcode : If you have a JAN code or ISBN, please enter it. You can still sell the product without entering it, but we recommend that you enter it.
Track inventory : Check the box Stock quantity : Enter the quantity *No need to enter anything in the [Unavailable], [Confirmed], or "On hand" fields
⑥Delivery
This item requires shipping :
Regular products: Check
weight : You can sell without entering this information, but if you are calculating shipping costs by weight, you must enter this information.
⑦Variations
If you want to include options such as size or color, click ``Add options such as size or color '' under Variations.
Enter the option name and option value, and then click the Finish button .
On the screen below, enter the price and quantity in stock for each item.
To set the SKU, gram weight, and whether or not to make a reservation for an in-store visit, click on the variation name to be taken to the variation-specific setting screen, where you can do so.
* If you want to change the display order of the variations (e.g., black on the left and white on the right),
Click the variation you want to edit on the Product Management screen.
You can change the order of the variations by dragging and dropping the dots (red frame in the capture) located to the left of the variation name .
⑧Search results
Click Edit.
Correct the URL handle.
If there is a part number, alphanumeric characters are preferred, including the part number.
*If you do not do this, the URL will be in Japanese.
In particular, if you are duplicating and registering a product, the URL may become too long, such as "Copy of XX", or contain unexpected text.
Leave the "Create a URL redirect to... " box checked.
⑨Status
Select [Active ] or [ Draft ] .
*If you select "Enable", it will be published on the site.
If you need to check the product display on a private site,
Select Draft.
10. Publish
No input required.
⑪ Product organization
Product type : No entry required Seller : Enter the manufacturer name or company name Collection: No entry required (will be automatically entered)
tag : Add tags required for in-store classification, search, and system control
⑫Theme template
No input required.
⑬Save
Click to save.
