"Digital Downloads" is an application that allows you to easily sell digital content such as songs and PDFs for free.

・Procedure for setting download limit
■Features・The maximum file size that can be uploaded is 5GB.
・The number of downloads can be limited ・No download bandwidth limit ・Download deadline cannot be set File folders cannot be uploaded.
*It is written on the premise that Shopify store opening is completed.
(1) Access the introduction page of Digital Downloads on the Shopify app store .

Click "Add app" on the above screen.
(2) Click the "Install App" button on the "You are about to install Digital Downloads" screen.
(3) When the screen "Add a digital attachment" is displayed, the application addition is complete.
Click "View products" on the above screen to display the product management page. Register your product here.
(4) Enter the necessary items in "Add product" and click the save button on the upper right.
(5) After saving, the item "Other operations" is displayed on the upper right, so click it and click "Add Digital Attachment".
(6) The file registration screen to be provided to the user will be displayed. Click "UPLOAD FILE" and upload the file to be provided.
The upload is complete when the following is displayed.
(7) Next, click "Settings" to set the mail template.
The following two menus are displayed in the Email templates.
Attachment updated・・・File update mail
Downloads ready・・・Download guide email
Since the e-mail sent when the user completes the order is a download guide e-mail, set the "Downloads ready" template.
(8) Click "Downloads ready", create Subject (email title) and Body (email text), and click "Save" at the bottom right.
Basic settings are now complete.

(1) Click “Buy Now” on the product detail page.

(2) Enter your email address and billing address, and click "Proceed to payment".
(3) Since the price of the product registered this time is 0 yen, it is not necessary to enter credit card information. Click the "Complete order" button.
(4) The product download button will be displayed on the order completion page.
(5) At the same time, a download guide email will be sent to the registered email address.
You can download the product from the URL attached to the email.
Configure the following settings only when necessary.
■ Procedure for setting the download limit
(1) Select the product to be set in "App Management > Digital Downloads > Dashboard".
(2) Click the gear mark on the right and click Settings.
(3) The following three menus are displayed.
・Sales of digital content ・Set sales of digital content and products that require delivery ・Set download limit
If you only sell digital content, leave the selections as default and enter a download limit.
In the case of digital content sales, delivery is not required, so you need to uncheck "This product requires delivery" on the target product setting screen of "Product Management" before starting sales.
